Earthquakes in various places…..

Another earthquake strikes in an unusual area… 21 miles from Shawnee, Oklahoma a 5.6 magnitude earthquake struck at 10:53 PM Saturday night. Jesus Christ foretold that in the end times great earthquakes would take place in various places, indicating they would take place in areas other than those at obvious fault lines (Luke 21:11; Matt 24:7). In the graph below you can see how earthquakes have spiked in recent years.

God is beginning to intervene in this world’s affairs in a remarkable way! We are witnessing prophecies come to fruition nearly every day in the news headlines; God’s people need to watch and pray as these things continue to occur with increased intensity and frequency.

Inclement Weather Continues to Hammer the US

Extreme weather continues to wreak havoc on the United States of America. In the year 2011 the US suffered major winter storms in the beginning of the year, terrible tornadoes through the spring and early summer, drought and intense heat for much of the south-west through the duration of the summer, and then a hurricane that settled over New England, adding more precipitation to the already saturated conditions there, and now before the month of October has even ended we have a freak winter storm that has left 1.7 million people without electricity! What is going on?

Earthquakes and other natural disasters

Since Boxing Day 2004 when the magnitude 9.1 earthquake rocked the Indian Ocean, causing widespread damage and a massive tsunami which killed over an estimated quarter of a million people, earthquakes have continued to terrorize mankind around the globe. From the Middle East to the Ring of Fire, which includes Christchurch, NZ and the tsunami spawning earthquake that devastated Japan in March of 2011, to the East Coast of the United States, earthquakes seem to be on the rise in both occurrence and magnitude. Most recently Turkey is suffering from a devastating 7.2 earthquake, killing hundreds and leaving tens of thousands homeless. In addition to earthquakes, horrific weather systems continue to crop up and plague the world on every continent. Hurricanes & typhoons, drought and horrifying tornadoes terrify and devastate people across the globe. Is there a reason for these things, or is it merely coincidence? Who Controls the Weather?

Ever more sporadic world events seem to indicate that we are in the biblically referenced “end times”.
